Dr. Rochelle Wilcox is a graduate of Saint Mary’s University where she obtained her degree in International Development Studies. From there she entered the health care field, studying at the Canadian College of Natural Nutrition where her interest and passion in health led her to attend the four year medical program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). Rochelle graduated in 2010 after completing her 4th year internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic (with a focus on adjunctive cancer care).

As a naturopathic doctor, Rochelle is very passionate in working with people through empowering, motivating and education to better understand their health and it’s critical role in allowing for a better quality of life.

During her studies at CCNM, Rochelle travelled to both India and Kenya where she volunteered, treating patients through sustainable resources, educating healthy lifestyle choices and prevention of HIV, with CFHI- Child Family Health International and FIMA- Foundation for Integrated Medicine in Africa respectively.

As a clinician, Rochelle has a special interest in managing and deterring auto-immune conditions, cancer prevention, digestive concerns and chronic disease.

Always welcome to new opportunities to be engaged in the public and greater health sector, Rochelle was co-chair for the Nova Scotia Naturopathic Conference (NSNC), along with volunteering her services at Connections Halifax (a free clinic that offers biweekly services for those with little to no income and without extended health insurance) and as a peer reviewee for the Integrated Healthcare Practitioners (IHP) Magazine.

Rochelle enjoys educating individuals and as a result provides frequent talks and workshops to her community. She can be contacted to offer lunch and learns, seminars and presentations. Currently Rochelle is a member of the Nova Scotia Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
