Dr. Adrienne (she/her) is a first-year resident and thrilled to be under the mentorship of Dr. Rade. She is eager to hone her skills managing chronic infections, chronic pain, and conditions of the immune, neurological, and endocrine systems. Her approach to naturopathic care has been informed by previous work in mental health and experiences in healthcare globally. Adrienne is passionate about equitable care, social justice issues, and the climate crisis. Holding space for humans from diverse sociocultural backgrounds, genders, and sexual orientations takes priority in her practice. She believes that meeting patients where they are at and collaboratively working together are central to achieving health goals.
Dr. Adrienne obtained a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from the University of British Columbia. She graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto and is licensed with the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Nova Scotia Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
Dr. Adrienne would like to acknowledge that we are on Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded Territory of the Mi’kmaq People, and acknowledge them as the past, present, and future caretakers of this land. We are all treaty people.
She acknowledges the histories, contributions and legacies of the African Nova Scotia people and communities who have been here for over 400 years
