Dr. Rade primarily works with chronic infections (e.g. Lyme disease and coinfections), mold illness, MCAS, integrative cancer care, autism spectrum support, PANS/PANDAS, neurological disorders, small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), musculoskeletal pain and complex chronic illness.

Rochelle is very passionate in working with people through empowering, motivating and education to better understand their health and it’s critical role in allowing for a better quality of life.

Dr. Cheryl Karthaus, ND

I have become an expert in integrative cancer care and supporting people with autism. I work with patients to increase independence and improve quality of life, increase energy and function, and provide direction and hope.

Using tools such as diet & lifestyle counselling, clinical nutrition, acupuncture, homeopathy, spinal manipulations, herbal medicine, and injection therapies, she has a wealth of options to help her patients succeed in their health care goals.

Dr. Adrienne Waunch, ND

Dr. Adrienne (she/her) is a first-year resident and thrilled to be under the mentorship of Dr. Rade. She is eager to hone her skills managing chronic infections, chronic pain, and conditions of the immune, neurological, and endocrine systems. Her approach to naturopathic care has been informed by previous work in mental health and experiences in healthcare globally.

Dr. Jen Cruickshank, ND

Dr. Cruickshank is a resident at East Coast Naturopathic Clinic. She is passionate about helping patients get to the bottom of their chronic symptoms by providing diagnoses and treatment for conditions such as Lyme and co-infections, mold and heavy metal toxicity, CFS/ME, and SIBO.

Hailing from a background as a physician in Turkey, Dr. Uzunel combines her extensive medical experience with a holistic approach to wellness by using a diverse range of therapeutic tools, including diet and lifestyle counselling, coaching, acupuncture, cupping therapies (wet/dry), clinical nutrition, homeopathy, botanical medicine, and injection therapies.

WHAT IS A NATUROPATHIC DOCTOR?

Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) are general practitioners of natural medicine. They are trained to treat ailments using clinical nutrition, acupuncture, botanical medicine, physical medicine, lifestyle counseling, IV therapies, injection therapies and other methods.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Please bring recent blood work and imaging reports, and list a of your medication. You will also be asked to fill out your intake form before arrival.

HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

You can book your appointment through our online booking page or you can get in touch by phone 902-252-3080, or email [email protected], whichever method you prefer.

DO I HAVE TO BE REFERRED BY MY DOCTOR (MD)?

No, although we often see patients that are referred by their MD, naturopathic doctors can assess and treat you without a referral by your doctor.
